Corona traffic light status RED valid at TU Graz from 28 December
TU Graz adapts its measures to the stricter measures announced by the Austrian Federal Government.
For this reason, the following extended rules of conduct apply at TU Graz:
- TU Graz buildings are closed. Entrance is only possible for TU Graz employees with the TU Graz card or a key.
- A mouth-nose-protection (recommendation: FFP2 mask) must be worn by all persons in all general areas (e.g. corridors, stairs, social rooms) in TU Graz buildings. At their workplace, employees may remove the mouth-nose-protection if they keep a distance of at least 2 metre from other persons.
- Research activities in our laboratory facilities are only possible to a limited extent and if a safety concept and an office occupancy plan has been submitted. The safety concepts are approved by the responsible dean.
- For regulations regarding on-site teaching and online teaching please refer to COVID-19: Teaching and Examination Operations.
- Office operations remain greatly reduced. Between 0 and a maximum of 50 percent of the employees of an organisational unit (OU) are present at TU Graz. Both academic and non-academic staff will be given equal consideration in personnel planning and office occupancy planning.
Staff present at TU Graz should work in separate rooms where possible. In large offices, around 15 m² (guideline!) should be available per employee, the alignment of desks / working areas should be optimized and regular ventilation should be provided. - Visitations to the organisational units (OUs) take place exclusively by appointment. External visitors are to be informed about the rules of conduct applicable at TU Graz and visits must be documented by OUs (template).
- Learning and reading areas as well as IT learning centers, Studios and Zeichensäle remain closed.
- The Libraries operate at reduced opening hours. All information is available at www.tugraz.at/go/bibliothek.
- Events will not take place at TU Graz.
- Work meetings with a number of participants not exceeding 10 persons may take place in exceptional cases after approval by the responsible dean and under strict adherence to the applicable regulations on distance (min 2 metres) and hygiene and wearing of a mouth-nose-protection (recommendation: FFP2 mask).
- For persons who belong to a risk group, appropriate measures will be taken to adapt their workplace at TU Graz in such a way that infection can be prevented as much as possible. If this is not possible, persons belonging to a risk group may work from their home office. If neither of these measures is possible, those who receive a COVID-19 risk certificate (§ 735 ASVG) are entitled to be released from work. Please send said certificate to the following e-mail address (supervisor in CC): sonderurlaub-covidnoSpam@tugraz.at.
- The applicable distance and hygiene regulations must be observed.
