Matthias Rüther received his PhD from TU Graz and taught at the Institute of Computer Graphics and Vision, where he founded the Robot Vision Lab. Congratulations Matthias!

She was born in 1988, the child of a tobacconist and a German teacher, and studied computer science and game development in Graz and the USA. Towards the end of the year, Johanna Pirker plans to release her first game. "Tales of Deimos" is what it will be called. Named after the smaller of the two moons of Mars.

2^nd call for joint online course
TU Graz is launching a 2nd call for Joint Online Courses to foster teaching cooperation with international partner universities. We are looking for high-quality teaching concepts promoting intercultural learning by connecting students from different universities. To develop such a course together with a partner university, TU Graz funds up to three projects with € 15,000 each.

Forum Technik und Gesellschaft: Promotion Award 2022 for Dissertations and Master Theses at TU Graz (in German)
Many final theses in engineering studies have high societal and/or social relevance, which is to be made more publicly visible with the award of the sponsorship prize. At the same time, the Forum's sponsorship award is a distinction for the authors of the best of these theses. All dissertations and master's theses completed at Graz University of Technology between February 01^st, 2021 and January 31^st, 2022 are eligible to participate.
Deadline: March 15^th, 2022
