The Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering at Graz University of Technology is committed to excellence in research and teaching. University Assistant (Post Doc, 3.5 years) at the Institute of Computer Graphics and Vision

40h/week, presumably starting 01 July 2020.

Admission requirements

Completed doctoral studies in the fields of mathematics or computer science.

Wanted Qualifications

  • Scientific work in the field of mathematical image processing, inverse problems and machine learning, proven by excellent publications in relevant journals and conferences.
  • Teaching experience in optimization and image processing.
  • Experience in supervising Master and PhD students.
  • Experience in raising research funds (FWF, FFG).

Classification

B 1 under the collective agreement for university employees; the monthly minimum remuneration for this use is currently € 3.889,50 gross (14 times per year, including social and health insurance) and may possibly be increased on the basis of the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement by taking into account previous experience specific to the job as well as other remuneration components associated with the special features of the job.
