Abstract Submission Procedure

To submit abstracts one needs to create a user account by clicking on: Create an account
Once created, you will receive your login credentials to your registered email. Use those to access your personal account on the website.
Please keep these login details safe or save them in your web browser– You will need these in future for REGISTERING to the conference.
Please follow below mentioned instructions how to submit the abstract.
- Thermec‘2023 abstract submission link
- Click "create a new account", and enter your user name, password, and other details that are mandatory before submitting your abstract.
Attention: Only presenting authors create an account and submit their abstracts.
- Then click on "Your Submissions" to chose
a) Oral Presentation
OR
b) Poster Presentation
- Enter the following data:
- Author(s), and mark the presenting author
- Organization(s)
- Title of the contribution
- Abstract (maximum length of the abstract is 250 words)
Attention: Do NOT include tables, special characters, images, formulae or equations in the abstract. Subscripts and superscripts are possible!
Attention: When you do copy&paste from a PDF please pay attention to copied word wraps!
- Topics: Please select the topic(s) (max. 2 topics) from the list that best suit your submission. This is to assist with the review process and the creation of the conference program itself.
- Keywords: Enter up to five keywords for your contribution here, separated by commas
- Please reply: "Are you a student? Submitting for a student presentation?" Yes / No.
- Click "Proceed" to complete your submission.
COMPLETE SUBMISSION: Please note that you have to click on „Complete Submission“ to confirm and save your contribution
PS: The Programme Committee will communicate only with the presenting author in the registered email address.
Also note that:SUBMIT ABSTRACT on-line ONLY to be considered. It is strongly recommended to create a personal account on the website to submit abstracts.
- Once the abstract is submitted, one will get an automated message stating your abstract has been successfully submitted.
Poster Presentation: Students & Non-Students Authors
Authors (both student and non-students) presenting posters at THERMEC’2023 are requested to bring and display their own posters in the morning of their assigned Poster session at the REGISTRATION DESK in Vienna. The registration desk will provide Patafix to affix the posters to the board and will provide you with the poster board number to be used to display your Poster. The posters must be affixed before 12:00 noon on the day assigned for your Poster Presentation session.
- Your poster dimension should not exceed A0 size (841 x 1189 mm)

- All authors are requested to take out posters from the poster boards by the end of the Poster session on July 5.
- DO NOT mail posters to the Conference Secretariat. THERMEC Secretariat does not assume any responsibility for mailed posters and will not acknowledge receiving it.
- Please note that poster and oral presentations have the same scientific value at THERMEC’2023. Manuscripts of both presentations will be reviewed for scientific merit and will be included in the periodical/proceedings.
- The Organizing Committee is eager to ensure maximum scientific impact from the poster sessions. To this end, the committee will visit the posters during the poster sessions.
