General terms and conditions of payment

  • The registration of participation is binding. If you have to cancel the registration, you get 75% back until 40 days before the start of the event. In all other cases, the financial responsibilities of the participants remain fully effective.
     
  • The participation fees are owed upon registration and are payable within 7 days following the registration as a participant (but not later than 7 days before the starting day of the event). Participation is not guaranteed until full payment of the registration fee is received.
     
  • Cancellation policy: All cancellation requests must be provided in writing, to the Organizing Committee (clf2020@tugraz.at). Refunds will only be processed after the conference.
     
  • The conference program may be subject to changes. Payments will be refunded if the conference will be canceled by the organizer. In that case, the organizer will have no further liability to the client. Registrations remain valid if the conference has to be postponed.
     
  • Please note: During the conference, photographs will be taken and video recordings will be made. The photographs and videos may be published und used for reporting about the event in diverse media used by TU Graz (intranet and website, social media, local media, website of the institute, conference website, etc.), presenting the university and its activities in the aforementioned media, documentation of the conference, and keeping a chronicle of the life of the university. By registering to the conference, you consent to having photographs and/or videos - in which your image may be recognizable - made in the course of the event and used for the aforementionend purpose.
