Job fair careers: opportunities in top companies

By Ute Wiedner

At the Meet Hidden Champions job fair at TU Graz on 16 November, start-ups and growth companies looking for academic young talents meet students and graduates.

Great opportunity: companies at the Meet Hidden Champions careers fair looking for students and graduates of technology and science programmes for about 350 jobs, placements and master’s papers for the coming year.
This is enabled by the traditionally good ties between industry and TU Graz. 22 STYRIAN enterprises – many of whom are world market leaders, innovation-prize or “top employer” winners – will present themselves on Wednesday, 16 November 2016, at the Meet Hidden Champions fair at the Neue Technik Campus. Together, they are looking to award 350 jobs, placements and master’s papers in Graz and its surroundings in the next 12 months. The fact that half of the companies arose as start-ups from TU Graz speaks tons for the entrepreneurial spirit prevailing at TU Graz.

Seizing careers opportunities

In two moderated parallel sessions, corporate representatives will give students and graduates of technology and science programmes a glimpse into the workings of their companies
  • in the field of engineering and science or
  • in the field of software development and computer science.
At the end of the event the best talks will be awarded prizes. If you register before, you can take application photos home with you from a free CV photo shoot with Jimmy Lunghammer. Information stands and a buffet invite you to exchange information and network in a relaxed atmosphere. The fair is organised by the Research & Technology House of TU Graz and ARGE SCIENCE FIT in cooperation with the Career Centres of TU Graz and the University of Graz.
