Maths is a must at TU Graz. If you want to be perfectly prepared for your studies and brush up what you learned at school, the MathsFit prep course comes in handy. Franz Lehner from the Institute of Discrete Mathematics: “We cover basic mathematics and go through everything students had to learn for their school leaving exam. The course helps to bring students from different school types up to the same level of mathematical knowledge so that all newcomers can start into their first term at TU Graz fully motivated and perfectly prepared.” The course dates are 22 to 30 September. The course is open to students of all disciplines who will take up their studies at TU Graz this autumn. There will be no exam and attendance is not mandatory. But please register in advance; the course is very popular, with up to 200 newcomers attending in the past few years.

Tips from experienced students

Students of TU Graz will be available in the Student Counselling Office of the Students‘ Union (HTU Graz) to help newcomers with their uni registration; they will answer questions about how to organize the study course, about student finances, accommodation and life in Graz. The service is free of charge. No registration required. The information desk of HTU Graz is in front of the Service Office on the first floor of the Campus “Alte Technik” in Rechbauerstraße 12. If you have already decided for a particular degree programme and wish to complete the admission formalities in the Registration Office, please complete your online pre-registration first.

Welcome to TU Graz!
