What to study and how? Students give advice and support with registration during the admission period. Welcome Days in September will provide you with all the information you need for starting at uni.

Thumbs up for embarking on your studies? The Students’ Union advice about enrolment and the TU Graz Welcome Days provide freshers with all the information they need.
Clarifying all the details: Advice from the Students’ Union (HTU) Starting your studies made easy. The Student Counselling Office of the Students’ Union at TU Graz (HTU Graz) offers advice and guidance to newcomers when starting their university studies. From Monday, 11 July 2016, two students will be available in front of the Registration Office in Rechbauerstrasse 12 to answer any questions. Until the admission deadline on 5 September, the student advisors will answer questions about studying in general, courses of study, accommodation and student finances. The information stand will be occupied during the opening hours of the Registration Office.
If you have already decided to take a particular degree programme, and would like to complete the admission formalities in the Registration Office at Rechbauerstrasse 12, you should make use of the advance registration procedure via internet before you go to the Registration Office. Compulsory online advance registration opens on 20 June.

Welcome to TU Graz: Welcome Days

What should I study? All first-semester students who are getting to know TU Graz have already made the decision to study for an engineering degree or for a science degree. During the introduction days on 29 and 30 September, all new students will receive all the necessary information to orient themselves to student life and studying, such as:
  • How the Library, IT services, Educational Technologies and other service departments work,
  • How they can personally “be the face” of TU Graz in the framework of the “Be the face” drive in their first year of studies
  • How to buy lower-cost computers and accessories through the u:book special offer.
  • Finding out about grants and allowances
  • Gaining a glimpse into the world of work of an engineer
  • Information about studying abroad.

Time: Thursday, 29 September, 9:15 to 14:00, and Friday, 30 September 2016, 9:15 to 15:30
Place: TU Graz, Petersgasse 16. 1st Floor, HS P1, or Inffeldgasse 16b, 1. TG, HS i13 (depending on field of study, see detailed programme)
