Personal details

Andrea Hoffmann was born in Vienna in 1962. Hoffmann started to set up the Commercial Department of Modine Austria in 1986, where she was responsible for the departments of finance and accounting, controlling, human resources, IT and law and for which she became commercial director in 2003. Parallel with her professional career, she completed her studies in commercial science at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, law at Johannes Kepler University Linz and business administration with focus on change management also at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. She became a doctor of law at Johannes Kepler University Linz in 2008. Andrea Hoffmann has been vice rector at Graz University of Technology since 2011.
