Austrian Student Union fee (ÖH fee) per semester
Tuition fees per semester
Non-degree students who attend individual courses must pay tuition fees and the Austrian Student Union fee (ÖH fee) from their first semester, irrespective of their nationality. In this case, the tuition fees do not increase in the additional period. Non-degree students who participate exclusively in a university certificate programme for further education or a University Preparation Programme are exempt from paying tuition fees, and only pay the programme fee and the ÖH fee.
You pay the fees every semester as registration to continue your degree programme, university certificate programme, etc. at TU Graz, see Registration for the continuation of studies.
Non-degree students who are taking individual courses and who are employees of TU Graz can apply for exemption from tuition fees beginning from the winter semester 2019/20. The exemption does not apply to the students’ union (ÖH) fee, which has to be paid each semester.
Application for exemption from tution fees
Degree students must pay the Austrian Student Union fee (ÖH fee) of 20,20 Euro per semester to the Austrian Student Union (ÖH). main degree programme.
If you are participating in several degree programmes at several universities, each university calculates the non-contributory period independently from the others.
