ITalent South East Scholarship

The Industriellenvereinigung Steiermark (Federation of Austrian Industries, Styrian Section) and TU Graz are awarding five scholarships for IT master’s degree prgrammes for the full duration of studies 2018-2020. Talented students (South East European nationality preferred) receive financial assistance of € 4,000 per academic year.

REMUS-SEBRING Group Stipends

Promoting young women studying Mechanical Engineering

As of winter semester 2018/2019, the REMUS-SEBRING Group in co-operation with TU Graz is initiating five scholarships for talented and motivated female students.

A total of five two-year scholarships are due to be awarded, three of which, each worth EUR 12,000, will be given to students of bachelor’s degree programmes, and two, each worth EUR 21,600, to students of master’s degree programmes.

Degree Completion Scholarship for Working Students

TU Graz is awarding a degree completion scholarship aimed to provide financial support to working students facing tuition fees to help them finish their degree programmes.

All students of bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programmes at TU Graz who are either self-employed or employed, and meet the requirements, may apply for a scholarship of 500 euros per semester as of winter semester 2018/2019.

Merit-Based Scholarship

Students of TU Graz with above-average results can apply for a merit-based scholarship. Each faculty awards annual scholarships of 750 to 1500 Euro.

Thesis Scholarship

Students of TU Graz can apply for thesis scholarships for writing master’s and doctoral theses. Each faculty awards two thesis scholarships, of 750 to 3.600 Euro, per year.

Best of South-East Scholarship

The Best of South-East Scholarship is sponsored by Steiermärkische Sparkasse together with TU Graz and is open to students from Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro and Macedonia with good results in their studies. Winners receive a grant of 750 EUR per month for a year at TU Graz and a 2-moth internship in the summer. The scholarship is advertised once a year by Steiermärkische Sparkasse.

Application deadline: each year on 12 December for the following academic year

Funding for masters’ theses and dissertations

With Ideen!Reich, Steirische Wirtschaftsförderung supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with up to 5.000 Euro funding for scientific support of theses in course of a study programme.

  • Requirements: Funding is for developing or implementing new business-ideas, especially for digital products, services or business models
  • Amount of funding: The maximum amount of funding is 5.000 Euro.
  • Deadlines: Applications must be filed before the start of the project.
