As an international employee at TU Graz, the welcome center team has been a great resource in helping me get adjusted to life in Austria. They are always incredibly helpful and informative, and are quite knowledgeable with all my concerns about living abroad. In addition to offering instructive events about topics important to living in Austria, the monthly get-togethers and excursions have been amazingly fun. Thanks to them, I have been able to make new friends, to get to know more about Graz, and to really feel like I can call Austria my home.

Asylum Seekers and Refugees

TU Graz is part of the MORE initiative, which started in 2015 and is supported by all 21 universities of Austria.

Information Leaflet in Arabic

Within this initiative refugees and asylum seekers interested in technical sciences have the opportunity to gain a first insight into TU Graz as non-degree students. The MORE Programme is a special programme for those who have not yet applied for admission as a regular degree seeking student, but are considering this option for the future.

If you are interested in this program please contact the MORE Team via morenoSpam@tugraz.at or + 43 316 873 4920.

MORE students have the opportunity in participating in a set of German courses starting on level B1 (Grammar, Language Competence, Cultural Course) complementing their existing German skills and allowing them to get in contact with other university students.

Asylum seekers and refugees who want to register as regular international degree students at TU Graz, please contact the Registration Office. Further Information: Leaflet Study at TU Graz as a refugee.
