Since 2007, the Faculty of Architecture at TU Graz has been researching and developing in a cross-faculty network in the field of digital fabrication. The results indicate an above-average potential through the integration of digital processes for innovative strength and productivity in the construction industry. The flexibilisation of the construction industry and prefabrication and the use of digitally controlled machines on the construction site are promising and interdisciplinary fields of research.
