Research at the Institute of Hydraulic Engineering and Water Resources Management deals with questions about river engineering, hydro power, sediment transport and fish passability, hydraulics and water resources management. Solutions will be found by means of analytical and numerical methods as well as by physical model tests. The chapters hydro power, safety, ecology and modelling are the main pillows of the institute.
