University Assistant (Postdoc), 2 years, 40 hours/week, starting October 1, 2022 or later, at Networked Embedded Systems Group, Institute of Technical Informatics, TU Graz, Austria

The Networked Embedded Systems Group at Institute of Technical Informatics at Graz University of Technology has an opening for a University Assistant (postdoc) position. The successful candidate will conduct highly competitive research in the area of wireless networked embedded systems, co-supervise PhD and MSc students, and help with teaching at Bachelor and Master level. The institute is one of the leading centers in Europe for research on Internet of Things and networked embedded systems.


  • Research in the area of networked embedded systems

  • Completed Doctoral Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telematics, Information & Computer Engineering, or equivalent


  • Very good knowledge of and interest in design, implementation, and evaluation of wirelessly networked embedded systems that meet high quality of service and reliability requirements (Internet of Things, Cyber-Physical Systems, etc.)
  • Very good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken; knowledge of the German language is an advantage
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality scientific papers and presentations
  • Didactic qualifications for teaching courses and mentoring students

We offer a yearly gross salary (full-time employment) of at least 56.861 EUR. Overpayment is possible depending on qualifications and experience.
