Science Day "TU Graz – Science for Future"

On the TU Graz Science Day, Sonja Wogrin gave a presentation in the session "Digital Twins in Sustainable Systems" and Robert Gaugl answered questions in the poster session.
Sonja Wogrin gave an overview of the broad spectrum of scientific research that combines digitization and electrical engineering. This ranges from digital twins of satellites and high-voltage cables, all the way through to a digital twin of the entire European electricity system.
In the poster session, Robert Gaugl presented a poster about recreating the (Austrian) energy system with the Low-carbon Expansion Generation Optimization (LEGO) model "The LEGO Model: A Digital Twin of the Power System".
