We would like to welcome Patricia and Julian to ia&l family!
Patricia is an architect studied art history and philosophy at the Humboldt University Berlin, as well as architecture at the Technical University Berlin. From 2016 to 2019 she was a research assistant at the Institute for Design and Architecture at the ETH Zurich. Her research focuses on cooperative strategies for the production of affordable housing, as well as informal settlement structures in Brazil. Julian is an architect completed his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, the UCL Bartlett School of Architecture London, and the University of Applied Arts Vienna. He has interest in strategies of designing according to territorial and urban climatic aspects.

We are very happy to welcome Silvia Benedito (Harvard GSD) as Guest Professor at i a&l in the winter semester 2019/2020!
Silvia Benedito is an Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture and Co-Director of the Advanced Studies Postgraduate Program in Art, Design and the Public Domain at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. She is also the co-principal of OFICINAA, an international award-winning architecture, urban design and landscape practice based in both Cambridge (USA) and Ingolstadt (Germany). Her pedagogy, research, and practice are focused on the intersection between urban form, architecture, and landscape relative to bio-climatic performances of the built environment.
