My research is focused at the intersection of recognition and reconstruction.
In recognition, there have been various contributions to active object recognition, object cateogrization, and video recognition.
In reconstruction, my research has addressed online solutions to Structure and Motion and their extension towards MSaM - Multibody Structure and Motion, as well as the reconstruction of 3D surfaces and their radiometric properties.
Currently, I am interested in representation of space-time as well as in surface radiometry, with a long term goal of fusing appearance and all five reconstructive dimensions of 3D space, time and spectrum.
