GCCE Poster Day 2026

The Graz Center of Computational Engineering (GCCE), with IGTE as one of its members, organized a successful Poster Day on 8 April 2026 at the Aula of TU Graz. The event brought together researchers, PhD students, and PostDocs working in various interdisciplinary fields of computational engineering, providing an excellent platform for scientific exchange and networking.

The event began with an inspiring keynote lecture by Wolfgang Wall from the Technical University of Munich (TUM). In his presentation titled “Novel physics-based, data-enhanced computational modeling towards a paradigm shift in health care”, Prof. Wall highlighted recent advances in computational modeling and demonstrated how the combination of physics-based approaches with data-driven methods can significantly contribute to future developments in healthcare technologies.

Following the keynote talk, the Poster Session started at 15:30, where PhD students and PostDocs affiliated with the GCCE presented their current research projects. The session covered a broad range of topics within computational engineering and fostered lively discussions among participants from different scientific backgrounds. Attendees had the opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss methodological challenges, and explore possibilities for future interdisciplinary collaborations.

Overall, the GCCE Poster Day successfully strengthened connections within the computational engineering community at TU Graz and emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary research in addressing complex scientific and engineering challenges.
