The Doctoral School of Architecture offers doctoral students the opportunity to carry out individually-supervised scientific work in both basic and applied research on current architectural issues.

The doctoral degree program teaches the ability to independently carry out architectural research at a highly scientific level. The research-led study allows students to gain in-depth knowledge of architecture and adjacent areas.

  • The doctoral candidate enrolls for a doctoral program in technical sciences through the study services. The assignment to a doctoral school depends on the supervisor.
  • The standard period of study is 6 semesters (3 years). The Dean of Studies may grant a shorter period of study.
